Change Password via macOS Settings

1. Connect to your Mac using NoMachine
2. Open Settings (System Settings)
3. Go to Users & Groups
4. Select your user (e.g. xyz####)
5. Click Change Password
6. Enter:
   • Old password
   • New password
   • Confirm new password

OR:

1. Connect to your Mac through NoMachine
2. Open Terminal
3. Type:

passwd

1. Press Enter
2. Enter your current password
3. Press Enter
4. Enter your new password
5. Press Enter
6. Re-enter your new password to confirm
7. Press Enter
